LuminaStream

Media × Technology

A streaming and content-distribution platform built to carry African film, music and episodic work to audiences at home and across the diaspora.

LuminaStream is the group’s flagship media venture and the clearest expression of what OBENHOLDINGS is for: technology built once and held centrally, content commissioned through our media arm, and distribution funded from our own balance sheet. The platform is being designed for the realities of the market it serves — bandwidth-aware delivery, offline viewing, and local payment rails — rather than retrofitted from an export-market product. Rights and platform software are held as intellectual property at holding-company level and licensed to the operating entity, under Clause D of the company’s objects.
