OBENHOLDINGS LTD is a private company limited by shares, incorporated in the Federal Republic of Nigeria under the Companies and Allied Matters Act, 2020. We exist to acquire, hold and manage controlling interests in operating companies — and to make them worth more together than they are apart.
A holding company earns its place in two ways. It allocates capital better than the businesses beneath it could alone, and it removes work those businesses would otherwise duplicate. We do both deliberately. Software written for one company is held centrally and licensed to the rest. Goods produced by our agriculture arm move on our own logistics network to our own retail and hospitality companies. Property is acquired once and leased inside the group.
That structure is the point. Eight sectors sound like eight bets; run properly they are one machine, where each part lowers the cost of the next. Our objects clause gives us the mandate to fund these companies, to advise them, and to set their strategic direction — and our Articles concentrate that authority so decisions are made once and made quickly.
We build for ownership rather than exit. Assets are acquired to be held, businesses are developed to operate for decades, and intellectual property stays with the group. This is how a company outlasts the people who founded it — and how Abuja builds firms that compete anywhere.

Article 1 of our Articles of Association names the industries this company was formed to invest in and manage. We hold operating businesses in each — and we build them so that what one company produces, another moves, sells or serves.

Our Memorandum and Articles of Association were filed with the Corporate Affairs Commission and certified on 26 November 2025. They set out precisely who decides what — and they are deliberately written to keep control unified while the group is being built.
A private company limited by shares, held privately and closely. Shares may not be transferred to an external party without first being offered to existing shareholders, and outside participation is capped by the Articles absent written approval from the founder. Capital detail is disclosed to counterparties under NDA.
The Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director holds full executive control over operations, investments, shareholding and strategic direction, and is the company’s sole representative in legal, financial and contractual matters. Managers act under that authority.
The founder retains majority ownership and control at all times. Any change to the ownership structure, any material transfer of equity, and any merger, acquisition, liquidation or reorganisation requires written founder consent.
The company acquires, owns, leases and manages land, buildings, vehicles and other business assets, and separately manages, protects and licenses intellectual property — trademarks, brand names, software and digital assets — on behalf of the group.
